If you look into a textbook closely, you will find that every page and every chapter of the textbook would have an illustration along with the text. Different pages or chapters of the book might have different kinds of pictures. Kids book illustrations are often vibrant and colorful. However, the textbooks for adults often have black and white illustrations or sketches. The kind of illustration you should use in the textbook should depend on the text’s context and the age group for which the textbook is designed. How do you choose your illustrations for toddler’s textbooks?
