borralho45 replied to the topic Can anyone recommend a strictly due-dilligence service for evaluating practice in the forum Group logo of Hacks on Dental TransitionsHacks on Dental Transitions 3 years ago

Wade Coleman at McGill and Hill Group. Hands down the best. Will do the initial evaluation of the financials over the phone and email, and then will look deeper if he advises you to pursue it. He won’t bill you if it doesn’t result in a signed LOI. In Dec 2016, he stopped me from proceeding with a terrible deal that I had misinterpreted.

borralho45 replied to the topic What's the rule of thumb for timeframes when buying or buying into a practice? in the forum Group logo of Hacks on Dental TransitionsHacks on Dental Transitions 3 years ago

the buying and selling process can be so stressful it doesn’t make sense to buy either if you are only going to be somewhere three years. Also you might lose money due to closing costs and fees. That’s why with houses five years is generally the minimum.
